We designed a platform for MAPSA that centralizes assignments, assets, and inventory with offline support for teams working in the field.

The Challenge
MAPSA needed to organize asset and assignment management in a field environment where connectivity is not always available and manual workflows create delays, weak traceability, and context loss between the people requesting, approving, dispatching, and receiving equipment.
The challenge was not just to digitize forms. The team needed a reliable flow for heavy equipment, tools, and stock, with clear statuses, role-based permissions, and an experience that would keep working even without signal.
The Solution
We built a solution made up of a mobile app for field work and a backoffice for centralized administration.
- Offline-first operation: the app allows users to create and manage actions even without connectivity, storing changes locally and synchronizing them once the signal is back.
- Complete assignment flow: we modeled the full process from request to return, with statuses, auditing, and clear ownership at every step.
- Asset and inventory management: we added catalog views, state-based filters, and visibility over equipment, tools, and materials.
- Roles aligned to real operations: admin, engineering, supervisor, and warehouse roles each have the right actions and access for their responsibilities.
- Shared design system: mobile and backoffice were aligned through a single visual and component system, improving consistency and making future evolution faster.
The result is a platform built for the real pace of industrial operations: fast, clear, and usable both in the warehouse and in the field.
The Result
MAPSA now has a much stronger digital foundation to manage assignments and assets with real traceability, less dependence on manual follow-up, and a mobile operation designed for uneven connectivity.
The team has a field-ready app and a backoffice that brings global visibility to the operation. The workflow is now prepared to scale without losing control, preserving history, clear roles, and synchronization when connectivity returns.
Desktop Application

Operations backoffice for access, control, and centralized visibility
Mobile Application

Mobile home with operational summary and quick actions

Assignment workflow with statuses and role-based actions

Asset catalog for equipment, tools, and stock

Profile with offline mode, active user, and preferences
Technologies
The platform combines React Native with Expo for the mobile experience and Next.js for the backoffice, all developed in TypeScript to keep both surfaces aligned.
The backend relies on Supabase, providing a foundation that is easy to evolve and well suited for operational traceability. Cloudinary handles media assets, while the administrative front-end is deployed on Vercel.
